Massive Transformative Purpose (MTP)

A statement that encapsulates an organization's overarching and ambitious goal, reflecting its core reason for existence. It provides an organization with focus and direction, acting as a north-star. And a massive and transformative purpose is meant to describe the change in the world that the organization wants to achieve. Some great examples of MTPs are Google (organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful), Microsoft (empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more), Tesla (accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy).
